Photographers out there, fancy winning yourself a brand new Canon Digital Camera?
The Maritime global photo contest is giving you a chance to enter this fun marine competition which was originally launched to honour the memory of Donald S. Sutherland, long-time contributor and photographer extraordinaire who passed away in May 2010.
Hundreds of photographers globally have already uploaded their favourite maritime images. If you are interested in clicking your way to this fabulous prize, there is still time to submit. The contest ends on May 10, at 2pm EST.
You can enter your images under the following categories; Ships and Boats, Offshore Structures, People, Maritime Scenes, Weather Systems.
The best photos from each category will be published in the June 2011 edition of Maritime Reporter and Engineering News. All photos are hosted online, where voters will choose one overall Grand Prize winner.
Photos must be in TIF, GIF, or JPEG format. Entries will be judged on content, composition, and clarity. Winners will be published in Maritime Reporter.
All entries must be submitted and votes must be entered by the end of the contest in order to be counted.
