Image Line is currently seeking 3 qualified interns to assist our PR Department!
Description of Duties:
Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of PR as well as the company’s Director. Interns will be asked to actively participate and lend their support to the following functions and duties:
- Upkeep of the Media Database
- Tracking and Monitoring our clients press clippings
- Researching new media (blogs, websites and other online/print media outlets)
- Arranging Media Kits for clients
- Updating the in-office PR Calendar
- Assisting with the compilation/drafting of monthly client reports
- Formatting press releases for e-mail distribution
- Handling reception calls for the PR Department
- Assisting with the preparation of PR presentations and proposals
- Assisting with the drafting, writing and distribution of the company’s internal newsletter (bi-weekly)
- Working in conjunction with the events/design department to coordinate intradepartmental projects
- Serving as event staff for PR client functions
- Copy-editing and proofreading
- And … simply being a young, invigorating, excited, “full of wonderful new ideas” … source of talented inspiration!
Basic Skills Requirements:
- Microsoft Office familiarity – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Exchange and Access
- Basic secretarial skills – phone etiquette, faxing, scanning & copying
- Basic copy-editing and grammatical skills
- Ability to work on deadline
Skills Preferences:
- Senior-level undergraduate students or graduate students
- Degree or Major in: PR, Communications, Business, Economics or Political/Social Sciences
- High GPA or Honors Students
- Experience with college/university newspaper
- Previous related-work experience
- Multilingual skills (not required)

2) Image Line will contact you within 1-week after receiving your information. At this time, we will arrange a brief teleconference with you in order to address additional questions.
3) Please be advised in advance that you will be responsible for your own housing, transportation, meals and general living expenses throughout the duration of this internship. If you are asked to attend an event on our behalf, Image Line will cover all subsequent expenses associated with this specified duty.
4) We ask that you be able to commit to an internship (with the option to extend) for a minimum of 2-months. You will be expected to work full-time during our standard business hours: 9:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
5) Interns are to abide by all company policies (i.e. sick leave, time-off, etc).
6) If a non-UK resident … interns are responsible for securing all necessary travel, visa and passport documentation. Image Line will provide any necessary material needed in order to correctly verify your internship.
